Tin Can Bay sits
at the southern end of world heritage Fraser Island, the
largest sand island in the world. The Great Sandy Straits are
considered to be one of the best and safest waterways in Australia,
and there is hardly a day goes by when you can't see a dolphin or
dugongs, sea turtles and beautiful bird life. Nearby is Cooloola
National Park, and the coloured sands of Rainbow beach. The
whole area is a delight to explore.
