Tiaro Field Day

It turned out to be a beautiful day for the Tiaro 2007 Field Day which was held on July 21st at the Tiaro Recreation Grounds.

A day full of practical farming & gardening solutions, it went off really well, and included numerous talks, demonstrations, and displays, such as fencing, stocking fish in farm dams, native wildlife, marketing cattle, growing fruit & vegies, organic pest control, and field walks.

plus many other marquee displays, stalls, a fashion parade, and food stalls.

There was also free plant identification, soil pH testing, water testing for salinity & pH, property maps, and lucky draws.
