It turned
out to be a beautiful day for the Tiaro 2007 Field Day which was
held on July 21st at the Tiaro Recreation Grounds.
A day full of practical farming & gardening solutions, it went off
really well, and included numerous talks, demonstrations, and
displays, such as fencing, stocking fish in farm dams, native
wildlife, marketing cattle, growing fruit & vegies, organic pest
control, and field walks.

There was also free plant identification, soil pH testing, water
testing for salinity & pH, property maps, and lucky draws.
Supported by Tiaro & District Landcare Group, Tiaro Chamber of
Commerce, B & H Rural and Burnett Mary Regional Group, this event
was a great success, and we look forward and encourage you all to
come along to next years Tiaro Field Day!
