was held to give hard working country women a day of pampering -manicure, hair dos and massages. This year it will be held on Feb 14 at Tiaro Memorial Hall starting 10am.

Around 600 people attended the Australia Day celebrations at Glenwood. Although there was a light sprinkling of rain early in the day, the weather held out. The day brought many market stalls, a photographic and colouring in competition, sack races, wheelbarrow races, hobby horse races, and the lamington eating competitions and tug-o-war attracted participants who were cheered on loudly by the large crowd of onlookers. At 5.00pm the awards were presented by Cr Linda Harris, who once again did a marvellous job as did MC Darryl Stewart! The crowd was then entertained by belly dancers and ate heartily at the free BBQ. Everyone enjoyed listening to the various musicians throughout the day, and to end the night, were also treated to a spectacular display of fireworks! Thank you to Glenwood Progress Association and Fraser Coast Council for their on going support!
