Christmas In July 2007 was a great success, even though we lost power just before the meal was due to be served up!  Ergon Energy was out in a flash after being informed! During this time however, everyone worked together as a team and light of some sort was restored with generators and candle power. Pumpkin soup was served, and Ergon Energy informed us that a transformer had blown down the road. That was replaced in no time at all, and by main course all power was restored. All in all, it was a fantastic night had by all, with Trevor telling jokes from Koche's Book Of Jokes, Tombola and Raffle prizes won as well as guessing the weight of a pumpkin, as we ate a very tasty meal. Thank you to all who were involved for making this such a great occasion! Well Done! Thank you also to Ergon Energy for their prompt response!
